Job Vacancy: Executive Director - Non-Governmental Organization (NGO)

visionary Executive Director to lead our team and take our organization to new
heights.
Position Overview: The Executive Director is responsible for planning,
coordinating, and overseeing the operations, finances, staff, administration,
programs, volunteers, and strategic initiatives of the Foundation. This role will
also drive fundraising, promotions & visibility, community outreach and
stakeholder relationship to achieve the Foundation’s mission, vision and
objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Communicate effectively with the BOT and provide, in a timely and accurate manner, all information necessary for the BOT to function properly and to make informed decisions.
* Provide leadership to staff, as well as manage their efforts to ensure appropriate support of all stakeholders.
* Prepare accurate and timely analyses that capture and communicate fundraising results, variances, and performance trends.
* Supervise the development of operations-based financial modeling.
* Coordinate and lead annual budget reviews, monthly and quarterly reviews, and periodic forecast updates with operational and senior management.
* Develop and implement consistent inventory and cost accounting policies, procedures, and operational reporting/metrics.
* Approve major systems implementations related to cost and inventory control.
* Provide and support innovative strategies to promote the activities and visibility of the Foundation.
* Ensure that services and funding relationships are robust enough to meet or exceed strategic goals and objectives.
* Identify and foster collaborative public sector and private sector partnerships with stakeholders including medical professionals, to promote inclusion and expertise, in the conduct and outcomes of Medical Missions.
* Plan, organize, and direct the organization’s operations and
programs.
* Oversee and report on the organization’s overall results for the BOT.
* Drive compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental policies, processes, procedures, and applicable laws/legal requirements in SEOF.
* Take responsibility for the health & safety of self, staff, stakeholders and all third parties in association with the Foundation.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in the nonprofit sector, including significant experience in senior management or executive roles.
* Minimum of a bachelor’s degree any of Medical Sciences, Business Administration, Public Relations, or related field.
* An MBA or professional certificates in a related field will be an added advantage.
* A proven track record of successfully leading and growing organizations, ideally in the NGO or development sector.
