As a Product Quality & Maintenance Manager you'll work on product quality and maintenance of IGT Fixed Systems. In a dynamic environment, use your technical experience, supplier network, process knowledge, and people skills to resolve blocking issues. Be a role model for patient safety & quality and manage factory escalations to ensure production continuity. Help build a team of professionals through knowledge transfer and coaching.
Your role:
- Manage factory escalations to ensure patient safety & quality, and production continuity.
- Be the linking pin between operations, suppliers, and R&D.
- Determine the solution direction for blocking issues related to R&D.
- Own and drive escalations until the standing organization takes over.
- Report to senior management when required.
- Initiate and follow up on any concessions required to ensure production continuity.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders like suppliers, and internal stakeholders like the factory, operations, customer service, procurement, quality assurance, and supplier quality.
- Team up with the leadership of the (LCM ART) Lifecycle Management Agile Release Train.
- Prepare requests for solutions leading to design changes when needed.
- Deploy process improvements, support the continuous improvement of teams, and make the Life Cycle Management organization efficient and transparent, in line with departmental and Philips processes and compliance with corporate policies/rules/procedures.
You're the right fit if:
- Bachelor or Master Engineering degree
- At least 7 years of relevant working experience in the maintenance of released products in medical regulated environment.
- Experience in driving for Quality, strong familiarity with Q-systems and standards
- Experience in 8D problem solving
- Green Belt / Black Belt Six Sigma Certifications; DfSS / DMAIC thinking
- Strong technical and functional leadership, influencing, negotiation, relationship management, analytical, and team management skills, with experience in working in highly matrix organization structure
- Experienced user Windchill cPLM (common Product Lifecycle Management) is a plus.
- Result-oriented and self-steering with a problem-solving attitude.
- Team player, who leads by example and feels responsibility also beyond their own role
- Fluent in English
