Our client is a medium sized Accounting Firm located in Melbourne CBD that is currently seeking an experienced, highly organized, efficient and adaptable EA.
You will be working with two other EA's on your team for a team of accountants.

What you'll do:
  • Diary management and email management for Directors
  • Assist with Marketing tasks (Mailchimp, LinkedIn, WordPress and keeping the firm Website up to date)
  • Maintaining client database and generating disbursements in Xero Green
  • Sending out monthly client invoices and debtor management
  • File and document management, including electronic and physical filing, scanning, printing, photocopying,
and archiving.
  • Preparation of company presentations and formatting of client proposal documents
  • Client hospitality including greeting clients upon entry to the office and making tea and coffee for clients.
  • Arranging in-house client luncheons and staff luncheons for internal training
  • Organise the internal company events such as EOFY and End of Year parties
  • Liaising with lawyers to establish new entities for clients.
  • Incorporating new companies and corporate trustees and for clients
  • Establishing new trusts and superannuation funds for clients
  • Registering new entities for TFN, ABN and GST via the ABR
  • Using CAS360 to maintain company registers with ASIC, prepare address, director and shareholder changes
where required and process ASIC Annual Statements.
  • Using SRO Duties Online account to register trust deeds for stamping.
  • Liaising with ASIC, ATO and ABR support where required
  • Collation of Client Tax Return and Financial Year-End Packs
  • Lodgements of Taxation Returns and BAS Lodgements with the ATO
  • Lodgement of Self-Managed Super Fund Annual Returns in Class software
  • Generating Tax and BAS Lodgement reports for the office
  • Issuing quarterly PAYG instalments through Smartdocs
  • General administration tasks such as answering phone calls, collection & emailing of client mail.
  • Preparation of client letters; engagement letters, ethical requests, accountant certificates, various bank
letters etc.
  • Office stock take for fortnightly supermarket orders and monthly stationery and office supply orders
  • Assist with Human Resources matters (graduate recruitment, liaising with universities, maintaining the
company’s policy manual)
  • Assist Taxation Division with administration

What you'll have:
  • Prior experience in a consulting environment with a minimum 3 of years (Business Services accounting will be looked upon favourably)
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Extensive knowledge of ASIC, CAS360 and ATO
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Can work in a team environment and on their own.
  • Has a friendly and professional manner
  • Has ability to be diversified and can manage multiple tasks at once.
  • High quality organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to clearly and confidently communicate at all levels.
  • Desire to work in a firm with a strong culture that cares about its people
