Alfa Laval CorHex invites you to strengthen our expanding team in Daejeon/Busan, South Korea where we manufacture our compact high-pressure diffusion welded Printed Circuit Heat Exchanger. You will be joining a great team with a diverse international background that love what they do. This close team forms the global engineering centre of excellence serving our developing Energy and Marine business.
Key responsibilities of position (Job Description)
- Maintenance Management - develop and implement maintenance plans, including preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability and cost-effective procurement.
- Industrialization and Process Optimization - support new product introduction processes, collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure smooth production ramp-up. Analyze production processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement.
- Operational Technology (OT) Systems - oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of OT systems such as SCADA, and automation systems. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of OT systems with other enterprise systems. Ensure the security and integrity of OT systems by implementing cybersecurity measures and following best practices.
- Team Leadership and Management - manage resource allocation, workload distribution, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Production Issue Resolution - conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Continuous Improvement - identify opportunities for continuous improvement in production processes, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency. Implement best practices, lean manufacturing principles, and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements / Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, industrial management, or a related field.
- Significant experience in production support, maintenance management, industrialization, and operational technology (OT).
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and OT systems.
- Proficiency in maintenance and reliability practices, including preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
- Ability to collaborate with IT teams to ensure the integration, maintenance, and security of OT systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve production issues, equipment failures, and process inefficiencies.
- Proven leadership skills to manage a production support team.
