In this position you will ensure 100% compliance and adherence to the Code of Conduct, secure OTD and quality of supplies, secure stable and reliable material supply and realize expected savings in material sourcing. You will ensure a sustainable reduction of quality costs within the more and more complex components.
You will be reporting to the Local Category Manager, in charge of the purcahse activities of precision casting and forging related sourcing work.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure 100% compliance and adherence to the Code of Conduct.
- Identify, analyze, evaluate, audit and monitor suppliers, drive and advance strategic supplier portfolio based on different commodity.
- Responsible for all the Purchasing process like RFQ, cost analysis based on supplier quotation , negotiations and other commercial tasks.
- Supply market investigation and commodity cost benchmark.
- Manage purchasing cost saving projects and drive the result and progress.
- Define and establish local standard agreements with all major suppliers.
- Provide and maintain standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with company directives and guidelines.
- Make the corrective actions with the suppliers according to quality performance, and follow up for verification.
- Support the suppliers to improve the quality management ability and optimize their quality management system.
- Support new product development projects to ensure acceptable quality level, right cost level and suitable production technology with suppliers.
- Follow-up on all necessary Supply Quality documents including, but not limited to, component qualification plan (includes manufacturing process verification), supplier quality requirements and component control plan.
Your background
- University and above with good knowledge of business administration, project management.
- Experience with 5 years and above.
- Good command of Chinese and English, both spoken and written.
- Knowledge in sourcing and purchasing in relative Industry field with good market know how at manufacturing process.
