Position Purpose:
Responsible for TNPA accounts nationally in terms of account management and planning, strategy execution of the plan,
business review, relationship management and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve account
targets. Responsible for leading and supporting the contracting and tariff negotiation process where applicable and
participating in the Transnet iKAM teams for the respective key customers within the portfolio
Position outputs:
- Startegic account management and planning;
- Commodity strategy;
- Account performance management and business review Negotiating contracting;
- Conduct joint planning with customers and formalize Key Account Plans with actions to feed into Transnet and Transnet
- Facilitate across Transnet integration to provide joint innovative solutions, that is seamless services;
- Deliver on promise, proactive communication with customers and key stakeholders and follow up on actions;
- Formalize stakeholder plan including internal and external partners;
- Implement alliance strategy with selected partners, e.g. road, logistics providers, warehousing, etc.);
- Be on the frontline of Transnet and TNPA in order to provide a service that meets the brand standards and customer
- Budget management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant Business Management or Marketing degree or related tertiary qualification;
- A postgraduate qualification would be an added advantage;
- A minimum of 8 years relevant experience;
- A minimum of 5 years in commercial/sales experience in same or similar industry
