We have a great opportunity for a Customer Operation Specialist / Cash collection Representative based out of our Prague Office.
What YOU will do here at LifeScan:
In this role you will be responsible for processing customer service regarding collections and inquiries in accordance with established processes, within the required timeline, effectively and efficiently, to meet customer needs and ensure their satisfaction.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing customer service regarding collection issues, processing customer refunds, processing and reviewing account adjustments, resolving client discrepancies and short payments
- Being responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts
- Being Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts
- Performing other tasks and duties necessary to support global accounts receivable
- Coordinating with the sales team and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process
- Designing and implementing processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables
- Weekly and monthly reporting to direct supervisor
- Processing credit memos and the appropriate reporting
- Reconciling customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due
- Meeting defined department goals and activity metrics
About YOU:
In order to be successful in this role, we are looking for a real team player who thrives in working in a fast and dynamic organization teamed with a can-do attitude. Ideally you will have at 1-3 years' experience of high-volume corporate collections experience and a great knowledge of billing and collections procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Telephone skills – in the areas of listening, problem resolution, dealing with difficult situations and /or concerned customers
- Personal organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure/demanding timelines
- Ability to follow specific processes and flexibility as appropriate
- Maintain strong control over the details
- Ability to work in a fast and dynamic organization
- Be specialist in structuring, analyzing and understanding data
- Fluent (written and spoken) in English and French.
- Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to operate effectively in an office environment, using computers and other office equipment
