· Responsible for supervising all operations at front desk.

· Responsible for inspecting rooms and updating Front Office Manager.

· Responsible for ensuring that all areas of the facility are maintained to the highest possible standards of safety, cleanliness, security and operational effectiveness and efficiency.

· Responsible for managing and motivating the front office team in order to provide high standard of service for guests.

  • Must be aware of any VIP arrival, special requests and repeated guests.
  • Responsible for checking accommodation for guests and accompany them if required.
  • Responsible for attracting, motivating and retaining staff.
  • Provide leadership support and is readily accessible to staff.
  • Responsible for ensuring the hotel remains clean and tidy.
  • Must be able to resolve issues relating employee (Conflict Management).
  • To have all departmental/leaves rosters are built-in Time and Attendance (T&A) system and ensure that T&A system is the only source available for calculation of payroll.
  • Keeping in view the nature of your duties, you shall be deemed as a part of the Management /Non-workman category and not entitled to any benefit admissible to workman.
  • Meets & escorts arriving VIP’s
  • Maintains a logbook of all occurrences, complaints etc. for the attention of Department Heads & G.M.
  • Conducts tours of the hotel as required.
  • Conducts regular “clock” rounds through the hotel to ensure safety & high standard of cleanliness are maintained. Reports problems to relevant departments.
  • Coordinates “overbooking” situations
  • Coordinates details and changes for banquet functions if needed.
  • Coordinates any “down time” procedures and deal with outlet systems problems.
  • Conducts regular guestroom inspections.
  • Coordinates a fire alarm information as per company guidelines
  • Ensure that department KPI’s goals are met and updated in a timely manner.
  • Ensure to attend pre shift briefings and update the handover on a shift basis.
  • Ensure that all rooms are per blocked at the start of each shift including VIP’s and others.
  • Ensure to inspect/visit VIP rooms as per company guidelines.
  • Ensure to give quick response to guest rooms in case of faulty safe deposit box.
  • Must be able to do any shift including night shift.
  • Must understand that during night, as a manager you are the only responsible and in charge of the whole property and a primary contact person of the hotel.
  • To ensure a smooth night audit process with no discrepancies left for the day.
  • To ensure a shift audit process by the end of each shift.
  • To ensure that any incident in the night shift is recorded and reported to the higher management with complete details.
  • Beware of company’s policy and procedures to any medical emergencies happen to in house guests.
  • To ensure that during night shift all hotel operations are working smoothly and staff are working efficiently at their job assignments.
  • To ensure that high balance reports is checked with action on daily basis and reported to the concerned.
  • To ensure that all upcoming group’s information is properly shared and delivered within the whole team/department.
  • Ensure that the counter is adequately staffed and never empty.
  • Ensure that Registration cards are accurately filled in with all relevant details and that procedure regarding passport scanning etc. are followed.
  • To ensure that the system for courtesies to guest i.e. fruit baskets along with cookies/cake/nuts tray, flowers and VIP welcome cards , etc. liaison directly with Room Service and Housekeeping to ensure that:
  • All such items are ready in the room prior to check-in.
  • The proper control is exercised on such items
  • All accompanying welcome letter, etc. are in the place determined by management and that they are presented to give an excellent impression.
  • All efforts are made by department to locate guests especially when a message is urgent.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From Rs45,000.00 per month
