Your role in the story:
You will be part of a team that supports our operations and projects worldwide by contracting vessels and transports, in a cost efficient manner, in time, in accordance with requirements and at acceptable terms and conditions. You do this in such a manner that tenders and projects can progress according to project execution plan. Your internal stakeholders are Commercial Department, Operational Department and Project Management.
What you will be working on:
- Review and discuss requirements with stakeholders;
- Coordinate scopes, specifications and terms & conditions with various specialists resulting in an Invitation to Tender;
- Perform market investigations and maintain supplier relationships;
- Coordinate the bidding process and evaluate proposals;
- Lead the process of clarifications and negotiations resulting in a contract or frame agreement;
- Think strategic and act operational to get the best deals and solutions.

Is this the job for you?
Key ingredients for success:
- Bachelor in Technical or Business Education or equivalent experience in a technical related industry;
- Excellent negotiation skills;
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in Dutch and English both written and spoken;
- Knowledge of ERP system, preferably SAP;
- Experience in chartering vessels and working with BIMCO contracts is a plus.
